Aurore de la Morinerie - Monotype, 2011

All the hardest, coldest people you meet were once as soft as water. And that’s the tragedy of living.

You either like me or you don’t. It took me twenty-something years to learn how to love myself, I don’t have that kinda time to convince somebody else.

I hope to some day read the Collected Works of Mirtha Dermisache (Argentina, 1940–2012).

Alexander Wu-Kim, July 5th, 2013
We met when I was putting some shoes back on the shelf last November, and have since then become good friends. Alex is the sort of person who is genuinely kind and genuinely cool at the same time - and aware, of what is right and wrong and what goes on in the world and I think that’s what makes him so cool. We roamed around and shot some photos one sunny winter afternoon after I told him I wanted to shoot him…in the head.

You can follow Alex on his instagram: @wupdewup
